3 Fold fireplace screens are adjustable to fit the opening of your firebox. Three
panel fire screens have a center panel ranging from 28 to 31 inches in width
and two side panels from 6 to 12 inches in width. Note the panels themselves
have fixed dimensions and they adjust by folding the side in toward the firebox
which in turn will move the front panel out farther on your hearth. When
selecting a screen measure the width of your opening and add 10 inches to that
dimension. Next look at the overall width of the screens. If the overall width is
51inches it will fit an opening up to 42 inches. If your opening is 36 inches the
side can be folded in toward the opening which brings the center panel out
farther on your hearth.
